RP-configured noise suppressing flat ferrite cores are intended to suppress radio frequency noises in flat multi-wire (up to 60 wires) cables of FFC or PFC type. Flat construction of RP series cores provides a possibility of accommodation within case of electronic device.
RP series cores are usually used to suppress high-frequency noises and to provide an electromagnetic compatibility of printers, monitors, digital cameras, scanners, fax machines, computer technique.

Impedance vs Frequency Dependency
Impedance vs frequency dependency for RP series ferrite cores:
Table data and impedance-frequency dependency graphs shown above are measured in wire section having a diameter of 0.4 mm and a length of 10 cm and passing through corresponding core of RP series. In practical applications of really used flat cables, frequency dependencies may differ from specified above.
