Power materials

For Power transformers:

For frequency f<100 kHz

  • N27 (µi = 2000) base power materials, low cost, hi-power
  • N41 (µi = 2800) applied in current transformers
For frequency f<500 kHz
  • N87 (µi = 2200) base power material
  • N97 (µi = 2300) the lowest losses
  • N95 (µi = 2000) low losses, flat temperature behavior, the dependence of core losses from temperature is close to linear
  • N51 (µi = 3000) losses min. at 40°C
For frequency f>500 kHz
  • N49 (µi = 1500)
Output choke (high Bsat @ 100°C)
  • N87 (µi = 2200) standard
  • N92 (µi = 1500) higher saturation
  • N93 (µi = 1250*) highest saturation
