We attract your attention to the fact that is no sense to use high-quality but not low-cost ferrite cores and impeders without previous arrangement of necessary level of cooling and filtration. To increase a life time of impeders, it is important to have a working temperature of ferrite cores within a range of 40-60 °С. To achieve this purpose, a pressure of cooling emulsion should be not less than 5 bars (ideally – 8 bars).
Effective cooling of impeders cannot be performed without correct organization of filtration system intended to stop a suspended matter that is formed of burned particles of ferrite cores, of metallic and oil particles from technological line parts.
USM offers modern filtration systems having circulation speeds of cooling emulsion from 40 to 850 liters per minute.
For emulsion filtering USM Company offers standard and customized height rolls of non-woven fabric that is specially developed for filtering and stops particles from 10 to 50 μm.

Additional emulsion cleaning by removal of suspended matter consisting of metallic particles is made by magnetic separation system. Oil particles are removed from system using a cleaning system based on rapidly rotating disk that removes drops of worked-out oil from emulsion.
As compared with traditionally used in Russia systems based on multi-stage drain chamber, our offered solutions have an advantage resulting in significant reduction of line down time for preventive measures in combination with multiple-time improvement of emulsion filtration quality.
We offer also separate filtration systems intended for continuous operation impeders and consisting of two removable switchable filters.
