Equipment and Consumable Materials for Inside Tube Scarfing

Inside Tube ScarfingTo make an inside tube scarfing, mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic type systems are used. As cutting tools, carbide base cutting rings or cutting tips are used that are to be selected according to internal diameter of tube, holder and tool type to be used.

The most simple in use are mechanical systems but their significant deficiency is strictly fixed position.. On using a hydraulic system with oil supply or a pneumatic system that is driven by a supply of compressed air, a down movement of tool may occur while metal band sections connected end to end are passed via a welding station.
