Optimization of welding assembly’s operational process is seriously affected by correct choice of material for welding rollers. As a rule Russia and CIS use steel rollers that absorb a part of inductor’s power and hinder an increase of production line speed.
As regards increased resistance to wear and prevention of generator’s power loss, ideal solution is to use ceramic welding rollers. Additional advantage of using ceramic rollers is a non-sticking of melted metal to a surface of rollers.
However, a deficiency of this method is high cost of these rollers.
To decrease a cost of consumable materials, we recommend to use our new developments — welding rollers made of bronze alloy and having a price that is approximately 3 – 4 times lower than price of ceramic rollers.
