CT series nanocrystalline tape based cores intended for use in electronic wattmeters are manufactured of NANOPERM® made nanocrystalline tape.
High linearity combined with low losses and variable permeability values permit to successfully use nanocrystalline tape based cores for electronic wattmeters (electric energy counters).
- For household counters according to requirements of IEC 1036 (low permeability, operation with high direct currents)
- For industrial solutions according to IEC 687
Electromagnetic parameters of Magnetec’s nanocrystalline cores are characterized by a high linearity in wide temperature range and have extremely low value of magnetostriction what excludes possible problems associated with mechanical tensions on winding.
Outer Protective Coating:
- Epoxy coating (UL-listed Material, File-Nr. E34947)
- Plastic protective casing (UL-listed Material, File-Nr. QMFZ2 E41938)
It is possible to make cores with dimensions required by Customer.
Low permeability (1.600 < μ < 3.400). For high direct currents.
