E-configured cores made of Kool Mμ material are issued with a permeability of 26µ, 40µ, 60µ and 90µ.
Among benefits of the E-cores one can note the application in welding equipment, for example, in inverter-type welding machines. As known, a lot of modern series of welding inverters are equipped with output chokes. In this case, the choke can serve as a key element of the welding machine, which uses electrodes in the welding process, and also can be used as a part of the welding semiautomatic device. The application of coils in the inverter-type welding machines circuits allows not only to stabilize the current, but also to smooth out the pulsating voltage due to their magnetic field. In addition, the choke can be used in self-made welding machines, and similar equipment manufactured at the factory.
