Magnetics produces 12 standard sizes of U-cores made of Kool Mμ U-shape is intended to be used as a core of choke operating at high current values . It is possible to order U-cores made of Kool Mμ with permeability values: 26μ, 40μ, 60μ, 90μ. Such cores are characterized by low loss and magnetostriction values close to zero. In contrast to ferrite materials and cores on the base of silicon steel, Kool Mμ cores do not lose their parameters at high temperatures exceeding 200°C.
